The African Conference on Operations and Supply Chain Management (ACOSCM) is a conference format that addresses particularly academics and is hosted by a different University within Africa each year in a rotating format. ACOSCM aims to become one of the leading academic conference for themes related to logistics, supply chain management, and transportation in Africa. In 2023, the Conference will be held in Kampala, Uganda

The organizers will ensure that all COVID-19 requirements will be adhered to at the time of the conference.

Previous conferences were held in Nairobi (2022), Kigali (2021), Addis Ababa (2019), and Dar Dar Es Salaam (2018). The conference usually attracts about 100-120 academics to present their research in multiple topic streams.

Each topic addresses contemporary questions that are relevant to the logistics industry or to its customer sectors. In recent years, we welcomed participants from Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, United States, United Kingdom, and China.

The conference language is English.
