The African Conference on Operations and Supply Chain Management (ACOSCM) is an international conference that particularly involves  academics and is hosted in a rotating format by different universities within Africa each year. In 2024, however, the 6th ACOSCM will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan after its initiation in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania in 2018, and the follow-up events in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2019, Kigali, Rwanda in 2021, Nairobi, Kenya in 2022, and Kampala, Uganda in 2023.  The  ACOSCM aims to be among leading academic conferences for themes related to logistics, supply chain management, and transportation in Africa. The conference usually attracts about 100-120 academics to present their research in multiple topic streams. Each topic stream addresses contemporary questions that are relevant to the logistics industry or to its customer sectors.

Each ACOSCM event will be complemented by a Gala Dinner in the evening of the first conference day with a high profile key note speaker from culture, sports, or politics, and selected by the hosting organization.The conference attendance is free for applicants who have been selected to participate.
