About

The African Conference on Operations and Supply Chain Management (ACOSCM) is a conference format that addresses particularly academics and is hosted by different University within Africa each year in a rotating format. ACOSCM aims to become one of the leading academic conference for themes related to logistics, supply chain management, and transportation in Africa. In 2023, the Conference will be held for the 5th time after its initiation in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania in 2018, and the follow-up events in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2019, Kigali in Rwanda in 2021, and Nairobi in Kenya in 2022. The 2023 Conference will be held in Kampala, uganda.  The conference usually attracts about 100-120 academics to present their research in multiple topic streams. Each topic addresses contemporary questions that are relevant to the logistics industry or to its customer sectors.

Each ACOSCM event will be complemented by a Gala Dinner in the evening of the first Conference day with a high profile key note speaker from culture, sports, or politics, and selected by the hosting organization. In order to facilitate ACOSCM, the conference attendance is free of charges for those applicants who have been selected to participate.
